Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Building Technologies. You will partner with world class engineering’s and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.


·       Optimize and maintain gas, steam, and diesel turbine generator sets

·       Upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot variable frequency drives for 13.8 kV and 4160V motors

·       Upgrade and maintain medium voltage breakers and switchgear

·       Monitor and optimize large-scale HVAC systems

·       Analyze real-time data to optimize performance of the facility

·       Maintain systems with a strict adherence to the operating budget

·       Implement new technologies to replace obsolete systems

·       Interface with and manage vendors

·       Manage capital projects from design phase to completion

·       Assess job hazards and procedures for lock-out, tag-out program


·       2+ years of Medium voltage switchgear experience

·       3+ years of Combined-Cycle power plant experience


·       Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

·       2+ years of Electrical systems design experience

·       2+ years of protection relay design operation and programming

·       2+ years of experience with PLC operation and programming

·       Strong desire to provide customer service

·       Ability to adapt to new technologies

·       Some experience in engineering

·       Experience in electronic assembly fabrication

·       Program management skills

·       Mechanical, Steam, and Control design experience

·       Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done.

·       Ability to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience.
